HOUSEHOLD GOODS, MADE TO LAST

OUR EARTH DAY PLEDGE

We switched the tape.

Every box that leaves our warehouse is now sealed with paper tape instead of plastic. It's a small thing, and it's entirely inside our control.

WHAT THAT ACTUALLY SAVES

180,000

fewer feet of plastic tape a year

That's last year's shipping volume, run through the new tape. We publish the number because you can check it.

“We asked for plastic-free tape two years before we could afford it. This year we could.”

Next up: mailers.

The plastic mailer bags go next year. We'll tell you what we're measuring before we start.
