THE SCHEDULE, IN MINUTES

Rig for twenty.
Shoot for twelve.
Then it's dark.

FROM THE CONTACT SHEET

Two more frames

The setup

The tripod went up before the sun went down, pointed at where the light would be, not where it was.

The last frame

Shot ninety seconds before the light was gone. Nobody spoke until the shutter closed.

“We counted frames, not hours.”
