Monthly product update changelog email template
Customers read a product update when it is sorted and short. Tags show at a glance what is new, improved or fixed, and a peek at what is coming next gives them a reason to read the following one.
- Example subject line
- What shipped this month
- Preview text
- Bulk export, 3x faster search, and a bug we're embarrassed took this long to fix.

What's in this template
- Giant version number, headline, intro and the button: See the full changelog
- In this release: 4 updates on white rows, tagged New, Improved or Fixed
- Link to the full list of updates
- Coming next: 2 upcoming features with a line each
- Dark closing band asking for requests, with the button: Open the roadmap
When to use it
Once a month, or after each release cycle, from a software product, plugin or app. It works for small teams that ship often and want one reliable update instead of a separate email for every change.
Make it yours
- Put your own release number at the top, or the month's name if you don't number releases.
- List your own updates and give each a New, Improved or Fixed tag.
- Point the roadmap button at wherever customers can see and vote on requests.
