The affordable Brevo alternative
EmailFig charges by subscribers, not email volume. It's free up to 4,000 subscribers, then $15/month at 5,000, with no use-it-or-lose-it send allowance and no $12/month add-on just to remove Brevo's branding from your emails. You get campaigns, automations, signup forms and segments on every plan. You don't get Brevo's SMS, CRM or transactional email; if you need those, Brevo is the better fit.
Why people look for a Brevo alternative
You pay in email credits, not subscribers
Brevo's plans are priced by monthly send volume, and an unused allowance doesn't roll over. Skip a send and you've paid for nothing; run one extra campaign and you're bumped to the next volume tier. Budgeting means forecasting how many emails you'll send, not how many readers you have.
Removing Brevo's branding costs $12 a month
On the Starter plan, taking the "Sent with Brevo" footer off your emails is a paid add-on at $12/month, on top of your plan. At the entry $9 tier, removing the branding costs more than the plan itself. EmailFig removes its branding line on every paid plan, no add-on.
Automation doesn't exist on Starter
Marketing automation isn't part of Brevo's Starter plan at all. Workflows start on the Standard plan, which runs $69/month at 20,000 emails. EmailFig ships every feature, automations included, on every plan and on the free tier.

Plus $12/mo to remove Brevo's branding. No automation on Starter.
| Subscribers | Brevo | EmailFig | You save / year |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5,000 | $32 | $15 | $204 |
| 10,000 | $46 | $27 | $228 |
| 25,000 | $82 | $63 | $228 |
Brevo prices by monthly email volume, so this comparison assumes about four sends per contact per month and uses the Brevo Starter tier covering that volume, read from brevo.com in USD, billed monthly. Fewer sends can make Brevo cheaper; more sends make it pricier. Add $12/mo to any Starter figure to remove Brevo's branding, and note automation needs the Standard plan ($69/mo at 20k emails).
Brevo prices verified August 2026, billed monthly. EmailFig prices come straight from our live price list, and they drop further if you bring your own Amazon SES, which also makes sending volume unlimited.

Where Brevo is better
A comparison you can trust has to cut both ways.
Brevo is a true all-in-one platform, and if you'll use the whole platform it earns its price. It bundles SMS and WhatsApp campaigns, a real CRM with deal pipelines, and transactional email under one roof. EmailFig does none of those. Its free plan stores up to 100,000 contacts (the limit is the 300-emails-a-day send cap, not storage), so a huge list that rarely sends can sit on Brevo for free. And if you send less than monthly, credit-based pricing can work out cheaper than any subscriber-based plan, ours included.
Which one is for you?
Stay with Brevo if…
- You want email, SMS, WhatsApp and a CRM in one tool
- You send transactional email through the same platform
- Your list is huge but you send rarely, so credits suit you
Switch to EmailFig if…
- You send a regular newsletter and want a predictable bill
- You're paying $12/month just to remove Brevo's branding
- You want automations without stepping up to Standard
Switching from Brevo to EmailFig
Most moves finish in an afternoon. Here's the honest version, including what you'll rebuild.
- Export your contacts from Brevo (Contacts → Export) as CSV, one export per list.
- Import each CSV into EmailFig and map Brevo attributes to custom fields, tagging as you go.
- Export Brevo's unsubscribed and blocklisted addresses and import them as EmailFig suppressions.
- Verify your sending domain in EmailFig (SPF and DKIM records; the setup screen walks you through both).
- Rebuild your welcome automation and signup forms, then send yourself a test campaign before the first real one.
Comes with you
- Contacts, with attributes mapped to EmailFig custom fields
- Lists and tags
- Unsubscribes and bounces, imported as suppressions so opted-out readers stay opted out
Rebuilt on our side
- Automation workflows (rebuilt in EmailFig's plain-language builder)
- Email templates (recreate or paste your HTML)
- Signup forms and landing pages
Brevo vs EmailFig, asked and answered
Is EmailFig cheaper than Brevo?
For a typical newsletter, yes. At 5,000 subscribers sending about four emails a month, Brevo Starter runs $32/month, plus $12 to remove the branding, while EmailFig is $15/month with branding removal included. Keep the small EmailFig footer line and it's free up to 4,000 subscribers. If you send much more often, compare against your actual Brevo volume tier.
Does EmailFig charge per email like Brevo?
No. EmailFig prices by subscriber count with a generous monthly send allowance: ten emails per subscriber on managed sending, unlimited if you bring your own Amazon SES. There are no credits and nothing expires.
Can I move my contacts from Brevo to EmailFig?
Yes. Export from Brevo as CSV and import into EmailFig, mapping attributes to custom fields and applying tags during import. Import your unsubscribe list too; EmailFig stores those as suppressions so nobody who opted out gets mailed again.
What Brevo features does EmailFig not have?
SMS and WhatsApp campaigns, the built-in CRM, A/B testing, and transactional email. EmailFig is just email marketing (campaigns, automations, forms, segments) done simply. If you rely on those Brevo features, stay.
Does EmailFig have a free plan?
Yes, free up to 4,000 subscribers and 10,000 emails a month, with every feature included. Your emails carry a small "Sent with EmailFig" line, which goes away on any paid plan.
