Connect EmailFig to WordPress
Forms and popups on your site, and a subscribe checkbox on comments and registration.
About WordPress
The EmailFig plugin puts the forms you build in EmailFig on your WordPress site, with a block, a shortcode, or automatically above or below every post. Popups load site-wide. It also adds a subscribe checkbox to the comment and registration forms, and to Contact Form 7 and WPForms, so people can join your list wherever they already type their email.
What you can do
- Add a signup form with the EmailFig block or a shortcode that works in page builders like Elementor, Divi and Beaver Builder.
- Show a form above or below every post, and change or turn it off on any single one.
- Run popups site-wide, with their timing and targeting set in EmailFig.
- Let people subscribe as they comment or register, tagged by where they came from.
Set it up
- Install the EmailFig plugin from the WordPress plugin directory and activate it.
- In EmailFig, go to Settings, API keys, create a key, and copy it. It is shown only once. Paste it into the plugin's EmailFig menu and click Connect.
- To place a form, publish it in EmailFig and add it with the EmailFig block. For a subscribe checkbox, turn one on under Subscribe checkboxes.
Questions
Will this slow my site down?
No. Your server never calls EmailFig while showing a page. Forms load in the visitor's browser, so a slow or unreachable EmailFig can't slow down or break a page.
Can people confirm by email before they're added?
Yes. Choose a list with double opt-in and every signup from the checkbox gets a confirmation email first.
What happens if EmailFig can't be reached when someone signs up?
The comment or form still goes through. A comment signup is retried automatically, and any signup that doesn't make it is listed on the plugin's Connection tab.
