Give and get referral program email template

A referral offer lands when the deal is clear for both people at a glance. This one puts the same amount on each side, in a card with one number apiece, and spells out three steps, so a customer can tell a friend exactly what they get.

Send a friend your link. When they order, you both get $20.

What's in this template

  1. 2 overlapping coins above the reward headline
  2. Short pitch and a button: Get my referral link
  3. White card with 2 amounts: what they get and what you get
  4. Rounded product photo
  5. How it works in 3 labeled lines: send, they order, you get $20
  6. Black closing band: no limit on invites, with a second button

When to use it

Customers who have just received an order or left a good review already like what you sell, so they are the ones to ask. A shop where a friend's first order is worth paying for can also send it now and then to loyal customers as a reminder.

Make it yours

  • Set the reward to an amount you can afford on both sides of every order.
  • Say exactly when the reader's credit arrives, such as when the order ships.
  • Use a product photo your customers already know, not a stock image.
