Volunteer day sign-up email template

A small ask and a clear plan make saying yes easy. This call-out asks for two hours, says what you provide, and walks through the morning so a first-timer knows what to expect before signing up.

Example subject line
Two hours on Saturday, one cleaner park

Gloves and coffee provided. Bring a friend if you've got one.

What's in this template

  1. Dark strip with the day, hours and place
  2. Volunteer photo beside the ask for 2 hours, and a button: Sign up for Saturday
  3. We bring the rest: coffee, gear and help for first-timers
  4. Morning timeline: 3 stops, each with a time, a photo and a note
  5. Wide group photo
  6. Closing band: Bring a friend, with a second sign-up button

When to use it

A week before a cleanup, planting day or build day, and again two days out. Parks groups, schools, food banks and other nonprofits that need hands for one morning can use it unchanged.

Make it yours

  • Fill the top strip with your own day, hours and meeting spot.
  • Rewrite the three timeline stops to match how your morning really runs.
  • List what you actually provide in the middle section, and cut what you don't.
