Review request email for home service jobs
A review is easiest to give when the stars are the first thing on screen. This one puts them at the top, names the technician who did the job, and offers an unhappy customer a way to tell you before they tell the internet.
- Example subject line
- How did we do on Tuesday?
- Preview text
- Thirty seconds, and five stars if we earned them. It helps the next neighbor find us.

What's in this template
- Large row of 5 stars set as one link, with a headline asking how the job went
- Message naming the technician, with a button: Leave a review
- White job ticket card: job number, electrician, warranty
- 5-star quote from a recent customer
- Dark brown band for problems, with a report button
When to use it
People answer best the day after the job, while the work is fresh. Plumbers, cleaners, heating crews and painters can use it. The last band matters as much as the stars, because it sends an unhappy customer to you first.
Make it yours
- Link the stars and the button to your Google or Yelp review page.
- Put the real job number, technician and warranty terms on the ticket.
- Swap in a review a customer really left, and send the problem button to an inbox someone checks the same day.
