Testimonial request email template for consultants
Clients write better testimonials when you tell them what to cover. This one asks for just a few words, offers three questions to answer, and shows a short example from another client so nobody wonders how much to write.
- Example subject line
- Would you say a few words about our work together?
- Preview text
- Three prompts to make it easy, and a thank-you either way.

What's in this template
- Large quote mark above a headline asking for a few words
- Personal note with a button: Write a testimonial
- Numbered list of 3 prompts to answer
- Sample quote from another client, labeled as an example for length
- Dark band with a round headshot, a thank-you and a link to book ten minutes
When to use it
A few weeks after a project wraps, while the result is fresh and the client is glad about it. Consultants, coaches, designers and agencies fit, as does anyone whose next customer decides based on what a past one said.
Make it yours
- Rewrite the note to name the real project and what changed on the client's side.
- Replace the sample quote with one from a client who agreed to be shown.
- Change the three prompts to match how your clients describe the work.
