Policy renewal notice email template

A renewal notice should answer two questions fast: what changed, and do I have to do anything. This one sets old and new figures side by side with a one-line reason each, says no signature is needed, and offers a call with the agent.

What's in this template

  1. Headline and a line on whether action is needed
  2. Policy card: photo of the home, address, renewal date
  3. 3 comparison rows, this term and next: premium, coverage, deductible
  4. No signature needed note with a Review your renewal button
  5. Teal closing band with a Talk to your agent button

When to use it

Mail it ahead of each renewal, with enough time to react. The wording is for agents and brokers, but any business with subscriptions or contracts can borrow the layout to explain a price change before the charge appears.

Make it yours

  • Replace the three sample figures with the real old and new amounts.
  • Give each change a one-line reason in plain words.
  • Link the review button to the page where customers can check their policy.
