Change your sign-in email
Change your sign-in address any time. Your old one keeps working until you confirm the new one.
You can change your sign-in email any time. Your current address keeps working until you’ve confirmed the new one. This only changes your own sign-in, not your teammates’.
- Go to Settings → Profile. Under Email address, enter the new address in New email address and click Change….
- Confirm it’s you with a code we email to your current address (or your authenticator code, if you use two-factor authentication).
- We send a 6-digit code to the new address, and you’ll see a Confirm your new address screen.
- Enter the code and click Confirm change. The code expires in 10 minutes. Changed your mind? Click Keep current address.
The new address is your sign-in email straight away, and we send a security alert to your old address.
New address refused? The message under the field says why: it “is already your address”, or it “is already in use by another account”.
