Create an embedded signup form
Build a signup form that lives inside your own website, from picking a starter to saving its settings.
An embedded form is a signup fragment you add to a page on your own website. Create one from Grow → Create new, then choose a layout from the Embedded forms shelf on the What are you creating? screen. This fixes the form’s kind for good (see Embeds vs landing pages).
Create the form
- On Grow, click Create new.
- Under Embedded forms, pick one of the four starter layouts, or click Start from scratch for just an email field you build up yourself.
- EmailFig creates the form and opens its settings screen.
Configure it
The settings screen has three cards:
- Name and list: the Name field is internal only. Add signups to picks the list every accepted signup joins. If your account has tags, you can tick any to apply automatically on signup.
- Fields: the fields visitors fill in. Email is fixed and always required. Tick any other field (first name, last name, or a custom field) to include it, edit its label, and choose whether it’s required.
- Behavior: the Button label, optional Consent text shown under the form, whether to Protect with an invisible CAPTCHA (see Block bots with Turnstile), and what happens After signup (see Set what happens after signup).
A live preview sits alongside the settings and updates as you edit. For a designed layout rather than the plain default card, click Design layout to open the drag-and-drop editor; this is optional.
Save and go live
Click Save changes to save without publishing, or Go live to save and publish in one step. A draft form isn’t reachable by visitors; once live, its embed code and hosted URL start accepting real signups.
