Read an automation report
The Report tab shows how many people entered, where they are now, how long the flow takes, and why people leave early.
Every automation that has gone live has a Report tab, next to Flow, showing what it has actually done. It’s hidden on a draft.
The headline numbers
Four stats sit at the top:
- Entered: everyone who has ever entered, since it went live.
- In it right now: how many are mid-flow now, with a note naming the busiest step if one stands out.
- Finished: how many completed the whole flow, plus what share that is of everyone who entered.
- Typical journey: the median time from entering to finishing.
Before anyone enters, these show as dashes with a banner: “Nobody has been through this flow yet. Numbers show up here as people start entering.”
How far people get
A bar for Entered, one per email step (“Got ‘<subject>’”), and one for Finished. On a flow with a split these bars aren’t a funnel: someone routed down one arm was never sent the other arm’s email. Each bar counts only who got that particular email.
Why people leave early
Lists every reason a run ended early as its own bar: Unsubscribed, Bounced or reported it as spam, Asked to be forgotten, Left <the trigger list>, Sending was blocked for the account, or Something went wrong. Only “Something went wrong” (a stuck run) links somewhere: to the list of stuck runs an operator can fix. If nobody has left early, it says so.
Each email
One row per email step ever sent from, showing sent count, open rate and click rate, including steps you’ve since removed (marked removed), whose history stays part of the automation’s totals.
Who’s currently in it, and who’s stuck
- Click N waiting here — see who on any step to open its waiting list: everyone sitting there, how long ago they joined, and a badge showing roughly when their wait ends.
- The stuck list (linked from the “Something went wrong” bar, or the index’s “N stuck” badge) shows everyone whose run failed partway, which step they stopped at, and when. The banner: “These people stopped at the step named below and stay put until it’s fixed. Open that step and check its settings — a rule that can’t be answered is the usual cause. Fixing the step doesn’t restart them; re-add anyone you want to go through again.”
