Delete your account
Deleting stops sending straight away, then holds everything for 30 days before permanent erasure. You can change your mind until then.
Deleting your EmailFig account stops sending immediately, then holds everything for 30 days before permanent erasure. You can change your mind until then.
Requesting deletion
- Go to Settings > Security and find Delete account in the danger-zone card at the bottom.
- Select Delete account…. A dialog explains that sending stops straight away and your subscription is cancelled.
- Confirm it’s you (a fresh emailed code or your 2FA code), and type the confirmation phrase shown on screen (your account name or sign-in email address).
- Select Schedule deletion.
Sending stops the moment you confirm. In the background, EmailFig also cancels your campaigns, archives your automations, closes your live signup forms, and cancels your Stripe subscription.
The 30-day hold
You’ll land on a screen showing the exact date everything is permanently deleted. Until that date:
- You can still sign in. That’s the only way to cancel the deletion.
- Restore my account brings the account back, but not everything in it: cancelled campaigns stay cancelled, archived automations and forms stay archived, and you’ll need to subscribe again.
- Once the deadline passes, you can no longer restore it.
Your sign-in email, sending domain and SES identity stay reserved for the full 30 days. You can’t sign up again with the same email, or move your sending domain to a new account, until the 30 days are up and the account is purged, or you restore it. There’s no way to shorten the wait.
