Sign in with Google
Link a Google account to sign in with one click instead of an emailed code, and how to connect or disconnect it from Settings.
You can sign in with Google instead of an emailed code, once your Google account is linked to your EmailFig account.
Sign in or sign up with Google
On the /auth screen, select Continue with Google below the email field and choose your Google account. What happens next depends on your situation:
- Brand-new address: this creates a new EmailFig account.
- You already have an account matching your Google address: Google links to it automatically and you’re signed in.
- Your account’s email isn’t confirmed yet: you’ll be told to sign in with a code first, then link Google from Settings.
Not available for BYOS signup. If you’re signing up for a Bring-your-own-SES account, use the emailed code instead, there’s no Continue with Google button on that path.
Connect or disconnect Google from Settings
Go to Settings > Security, and find Sign-in methods. Google shows as Connect Google if it isn’t linked yet, or Connected with your linked Google address if it is.
To connect it: select Connect, confirm it’s you (a fresh emailed code or your two-factor code), then finish linking at Google.
To disconnect it: select Disconnect and confirm. Every account can still sign in with an emailed code, so disconnecting never locks you out.
