Publish, pause, archive or delete a form
Take a form live, pause it, retire it, or delete one you made by mistake, and read its numbers on the Grow page.
Every form is draft, live or archived, and only a live form accepts signups. An inline form or popup goes live and pauses; a landing page publishes and unpublishes. They mean the same thing.
Go live or publish
Open the form from Grow and click Save & go live (inline form or popup) or Publish (landing page). Any unsaved changes are saved first, and the form starts accepting signups straight away.

Pause or unpublish
Click Pause or Unpublish in the form’s top bar. The form goes back to draft: it disappears from your site, or the landing page link stops working. You keep its signups and numbers, and you can go live again whenever you like.
Archive
Open the … (More actions) menu in the form’s top bar and click Archive. The form stops accepting signups and moves out of your main list on Grow, but keeps its signups and numbers.
To bring it back, click Archived at the top of Grow, open the row’s … menu and click Restore. It comes back as a draft.
Delete
Delete is in the same … menu, but only until the form gets its first signup. After that, archive it instead, because EmailFig keeps every signup as proof of consent.
You can’t delete a form that an automation starts from. Archive the automation first.
Read the numbers on Grow
The Grow page lists every form with its numbers for the last 30 days:
- Views (30d): how often the form was shown. For a popup, how often it opened. Bots can add a few, so treat it as a guide.
- Signups (30d): signups the form accepted. Someone already on the list signing up again isn’t counted twice.
- Confirmed (30d): on a double opt-in list, how many of those people clicked their confirmation link. On a single opt-in list it shows ”—”.
- Conversion: signups as a percentage of views.
- Where: a landing page’s link, ready to copy. An inline form or popup shows ”—”, because it’s wherever you pasted it.
A Live, can’t confirm status means the form is turning signups away: every new signup on a double opt-in list, or people who unsubscribed before on a list without it. See Why won’t my form go live?
