Cancel or resume your subscription

Billing & plansUpdated

Cancelling in good standing keeps your plan until the end of the billing period; a past-due subscription cancels immediately instead.

Go to Settings → Plan & billing, and under Subscription, select Cancel subscription. What happens next depends on whether your account is in good standing or past due:

  • In good standing: cancellation is scheduled for the end of your current billing period. You keep full access (your current contact cap, no branding) until then, and you can undo it any time before that date.
  • Past due: cancelling takes effect immediately instead of at period end, since there’s no remaining paid period to serve out.

The Subscription card on Settings, Plan and billing with its Cancel subscription confirmation dialog open, reading Cancel your subscription? You’ll keep access until the end of the billing period.

  1. Select Cancel subscription and confirm.
  2. In good standing, you’ll see: “Cancellation scheduled — you’ll keep access until <date>.” A banner on Plan & billing reminds you of the date, with a Keep my subscription button.
  3. If your account was past due, you’ll see instead: “Subscription canceled. Your access has ended.” You’re on the free tier immediately.

Resuming

While your cancellation is still scheduled, select Keep my subscription on the banner, or Resume subscription under Subscription on Plan & billing. Either undoes it and your subscription keeps renewing at its existing price. Once the period has ended and you’re on the free tier, there’s nothing to resume; subscribe again from Plan & billing instead.

What stays

Cancelling never deletes your contacts, campaigns, templates or sending domains. You drop to the free tier’s 4,000-contact cap and EmailFig’s branding returns on recipient-facing pages. See What’s on the free tier.
