Reports & analyticsUpdated

What each card on a sent campaign's report page shows you, and how the page looks different while it's still a draft or still sending.

Open Campaigns in the left nav and click a campaign’s name to see its report. What’s on the page depends on status: a draft or scheduled campaign shows a “Ready to send?” checklist instead of stats, while sending, sent, paused, canceled and failed campaigns show the numbers below.

A sent campaign’s report: the Delivered, Opens, Clicks and Unsubs stat row, the Engagement chart below it, and the Details and Top links clicked cards in the sidebar.

Headline numbers

Across the top of the report:

  • Delivered: the delivery rate, with the raw count (“X of Y”) underneath.
  • Opens: the open rate, with unique opens underneath. Hover the heading for a caveat about Apple Mail Privacy Protection (see Why open rates are inflated).
  • Clicks: the click rate, with unique clicks and CTOR (click-through rate) underneath.
  • Unsubs: the raw unsubscribe count, with the unsubscribe rate underneath.

Below that, a second row shows Bounce rate (hard + soft) with the hard/soft split in parentheses, and Complaint rate with the raw count. If anything failed outright, you’ll also see a Failed count, marked “(rejected or not rendered)”. Exact formulas for all of these are in Metrics defined.

If a campaign is still sending, an alert at the top says delivery is in progress and the numbers below update as it completes.

Engagement chart

The chart plots opens and clicks over time: hourly for the first day after the campaign was prepared, then daily after that. The caption tells you which you’re looking at.

A sidebar card ranks every tracked link in the email by unique clickers, with total clicks underneath each one. See See who clicked a specific link for what counts as a click and what “Unknown link” means.

Why they unsubscribed

If your account collects the optional unsubscribe survey and this campaign got at least one response, a card breaks responses down by reason, with a link to the full comments. See Why people unsubscribe.

Recipient-level detail

The Recipients button in the page header takes you to every recipient’s delivery status and timestamps, with a CSV export. See Recipient activity and CSV export.

Other states

  • Failed: an alert explains the campaign couldn’t be sent, with a Revise button to return it to draft.
  • In review: an alert says the campaign is going through a content review; you’ll be emailed when it clears.
  • Paused / canceled: the same stats and cards render, without the in-progress alert.

For what each status means, see Campaign statuses explained.
