Set what happens after signup

Forms & landing pagesUpdated

Choose what a visitor sees next: a confirmation message, or your own page.

Every form, embed or landing page, has an After signup setting with two options: show a message, or redirect to a URL of your own. Find it in the Behavior card on an embedded form’s settings screen, or in Page settings on a landing page.

Show a message

The default. Visitors see a confirmation message after submitting. Edit the text under Show a message; it defaults to “You’re subscribed. Welcome!” if you leave it blank.

Redirect to a URL

Send the visitor to a page of your own instead. Select Redirect to a URL and enter the destination address.

Double opt-in changes what a visitor sees

If the form’s list uses double opt-in (see Turn on double opt-in confirmation), a visitor hasn’t subscribed when they submit; they still need to click the confirmation link EmailFig emails them. In message mode, EmailFig shows its own “check your email” wording instead of your custom message. A redirect happens immediately for every submission, whatever the list mode, so if you redirect on a double opt-in list, make sure the page you send visitors to also tells them to check their inbox.
