Account & securityUpdated

EmailFig has no password. You sign in with your email address and a 6-digit code we send you, and creating an account works exactly the same way.

There’s no password to remember. Type your email address on the Sign in or create your account screen, and enter the 6-digit code we email you. The same steps create a brand-new account the first time round.

  1. Go to /auth and enter your email address under Email, then select Continue.
  2. Check your inbox for the code. The Check your inbox screen shows the address it was sent to, with an edit link if you typed it wrong.
  3. Enter the 6 digits. The code expires in 10 minutes; if you didn’t get it in time, select Resend code.
  4. If you have two-factor authentication turned on, you’ll also be asked for the code from your authenticator app (or a recovery code) on a Two-factor check screen.
  5. Existing accounts land straight on your dashboard. A brand-new address goes to a Welcome to EmailFig screen with a Create account button; nothing is created until you select it.

This one screen handles both signing in and signing up, so you never have to know in advance whether an address already has an account.

You can also sign in with a linked Google account. See Sign in with Google.
