Client accounts for agencies

Account & teamUpdated

Run a separate EmailFig account for each client and switch between them without signing out.

If you’re an agency, you can give each client its own EmailFig account, with separate contacts, campaigns, sending domains, branding and plan. You stay signed in as yourself and switch between them.

Client accounts are turned on per agency. To get them, email contact@emailfig.com from your account and tell us a little about the clients you’ll be sending for. Once they’re on, Clients appears in your settings.

Create a client

  1. Go to Settings → Clients and click New client.
  2. Enter the Client name. This is what you’ll see in the account switcher.
  3. Under How they send, choose EmailFig sends for them (recommended) or They bring their own AWS account. You can’t change this later.
  4. Click Create client.

You land in the new account, ready to set up its sending domain and contacts. Each client starts on the free plan and has its own subscription under Settings → Plan & billing.

Switch between accounts

Click the account name at the bottom of the sidebar and pick the account you want, or click a client’s name on Settings → Clients. The sidebar always shows which account you’re in, so check it before you send.

Who can get in

Everyone on your agency’s team can open every client account, including teammates you invite later. Removing someone from your agency’s team removes them from every client too. Clients don’t get their own sign-in.

A client account’s team and deletion are managed from your agency account. If you open them inside the client, you’ll see “That’s managed from your agency account.” Account emails for a client, such as a suspension notice, go to your agency’s owner.

Close or restore a client

Only your agency’s owner can close a client.

  1. On Settings → Clients, open the client’s ”…” menu and click Close….
  2. Enter the code we email you (or your authenticator code, if you use two-factor authentication).
  3. Type the client’s name to confirm, and click Close client.

Sending stops straight away, and everything in that account is permanently deleted after 30 days.

Changed your mind? Open the ”…” menu again and click Restore…. That takes you into the client account, where Restore my account brings it back any time before the deadline.

You can’t delete your agency account while it still has open clients, so close those first. See Delete your account.
