Add images to an email

Templates & contentUpdated

Upload images directly in either editor (up to 10MB, in PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP) and EmailFig hosts them on a permanent URL.

Both editors let you upload an image instead of hosting it yourself. Uploads are capped at 10MB, and EmailFig accepts PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP. It stores the file and gives it a permanent URL that never expires, so the image still shows up whenever someone opens the email, even months later.

In the HTML editor

  1. Click the Image button in the toolbar.
  2. Upload a file, or paste an existing image URL if you’re hosting it elsewhere.
  3. The image is inserted at your cursor. Resize and align it like any other content.

In the drag & drop editor

  1. Drag an Image block onto the canvas.
  2. Click it and upload a file.

An Image block selected on the drag and drop canvas, with its settings panel open on the right showing the Image URL field, the Browse Media button and Alt Text.

If an upload is rejected

An upload fails if the file isn’t PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, or if it’s over 10MB. Resize or convert it and try again.
