Duplicate a campaign
Make an editable copy of any campaign as a new draft.
Duplicate copies a campaign into a new draft, with ” (copy)” added to its name, like “October news (copy)”. You can edit and send the copy without touching the original.
- Click Duplicate at the top of the campaign’s page, or open the … menu on its row in the Campaigns list and choose Duplicate.
- You land on the copy’s Setup step, ready to edit.
The copy keeps the subject, preview text, sender, content and the whole audience (who it goes to, any exclusions, and the subscription list). It starts as a Draft with no send time and no report.
When to use it
Duplicate is how you send a Sent or Canceled campaign again, since neither can go out a second time. To fix a Failed campaign and send it, Revise is simpler; duplicate it instead only if you want to keep the failed one as a record.
