Duplicate a campaign

CampaignsUpdated

What Duplicate copies into a fresh draft, what it resets, and when to use it instead of Revise.

Duplicate makes a fresh copy of a campaign, its content, audience and settings, as a new Draft named “ (copy)”. You can edit and send the copy on its own, without touching the original.

  1. From the campaign’s page, or its row on the Campaigns list (the menu), select Duplicate.
  2. You land straight in the copy’s Setup step, ready to edit the new draft.

What carries over

The name (with “ (copy)“ added), subject, preview text, from name/email, sending domain, audience (target lists, exclusions, segment), and the template or content itself.

What resets

The status goes back to Draft, with no scheduled or sent time. Report data and any earlier review result don’t come across: the copy is looked at fresh the next time you send it.

When to use it

Duplicate is how you resend a Sent or Canceled campaign, since neither can go out again as-is. It’s also handy for reusing a Failed campaign’s setup without carrying over the failure reason. If instead you want to fix what failed and resend the same campaign, Revise is usually simpler.
