Update your payment method

Add or replace the card on file from Settings → Plan & billing. Stripe handles card entry and any 3D Secure confirmation.

  1. Go to Settings → Plan & billing.
  2. Under Subscription, select Update next to Payment method.
  3. On Update payment method, enter your card details and select Save card. Stripe may ask you to confirm the card with 3D Secure before it’s saved.
  4. You’re returned to Plan & billing with a confirmation: “Card updated. Future charges will use this one.”

What you’ll see on the billing page

The Subscription card only shows whether a card is on file (“Card on file” or “No card on file yet.”), not its number, brand or expiry. For those, check your card issuer or Stripe’s receipt emails.

Update only appears once you’ve subscribed to a paid plan. On the free tier there’s no subscription yet to attach a card to: pick a plan first from Plan & billing.
