Can I add teammates?

Account & securityUpdated

No. EmailFig is one user per account, with no invites, roles or permissions. Here's the workaround some teams use.

No. An EmailFig account has exactly one user: no invite flow, no roles, no second sign-in.

To share access, use a shared mailbox (a distribution address like newsletter@yourcompany.com, or a shared inbox tool) as the account’s sign-in email, so everyone who needs in requests a sign-in code against that mailbox. Weigh the trade-offs first:

  • No per-person audit trail. Every action looks like it was done by the account, not by whoever was signed in.
  • No permissions. Anyone with mailbox access has full control: billing, sending domains, deleting the account, everything.
  • Shared 2FA. If you turn on 2FA, the authenticator secret and recovery codes have to be shared too, which is weaker than 2FA is meant to be.
  • Whoever controls the mailbox controls the account. With no password, control follows the mailbox and (if enabled) the shared 2FA secret, including changing the sign-in email.
