What's on the free tier
Sprout, EmailFig's free tier, gives every feature to up to 4,000 subscribed contacts at $0/month. The only difference from a paid plan is branding on recipient-facing pages.
Sprout, EmailFig’s free tier, is free indefinitely for up to 4,000 subscribed contacts: no card required, nothing that expires. Every account starts here, and every feature is available on it.
What’s actually different
The one thing a paid plan buys you is branding. On the free tier, your unsubscribe and preference pages carry a small “Powered by EmailFig” footer linking back to emailfig.com. Subscribing to any paid tier removes it immediately; letting a subscription lapse brings it back.

If you’d rather remove the branding before your list reaches 4,000 contacts, there are small tiers just for that, starting at $6/month for up to 500 contacts. See How EmailFig pricing works.
Growing past 4,000 contacts
Once your subscribed contact count passes 4,000, EmailFig either upgrades you automatically or asks you to, depending on your Auto-upgrade setting. See Auto-upgrade: what happens when your list grows. Nothing is blocked or deleted at the cap itself, only once you’re over it and don’t upgrade.
Bringing your own Amazon SES
A BYOS account gets the same free-tier terms: up to 4,000 contacts, $0/month, EmailFig-branded pages, sent through your own AWS account. Its paid ladder runs at a lower price than the platform prices. See What is BYOS? and BYOS pricing.
